After years of debating what it was I really wanted to do in life, and really struggling with what I was good at in the "real world", I decided to do what I love. I love taking pictures. I'm still learning about photography, and about myself. All I know right now is that behind that camera, and looking at those finished images, I feel at home. I hope one day that my photos will be on other people's walls, making them feel at home too.

My baby sis heads off to her 8th Grade MORP Dance (Prom spelled backwards)! Another chance to capture precious memories as she grows in the blink of an eye!
After doing several on-location shoots, I was thrilled to capture an emotional right of passage in the comfort of home as my younger brother and sister attended their Junior Prom (4.23.10). Capturing an event through more than just posed photos is an aspect of photography I truly love, for it allows one to experience the day again any time they please! Enjoy!
The beauty of word of mouth brought me my first "real" clients, Ashley & Dustin (3.29.10)! It was certainly different shooting people I didn't know, and a was a wonderful learning experience! Enjoy!
The time had come to tackle the art of photographing children! I chose my godson, Hogan, to be my first victim (3.18.10)! I learned that kids definitely require three times the amount of work, patience, time, AND memory card space! As for looking at the camera on demand... forget it! The end results were pretty fun... enjoy!
Ready to shoot another female model, my friend Brandy agreed to help me out (3.11.10)! We headed downtown and luckily got several good shots in before I had my first "battery dying in the middle of a shoot" experience! Better sooner than later! Along with a tornado siren blaring, it was certainly a fun time! Enjoy!
